We’re gearing up for our upcoming community pet meet-up and vaccine clinic. We are looking for reliable, caring volunteers to join us!
This is a great opportunity to give back, support pet owners, and earn volunteer hours while making a real impact in the community. Assist AApetcare staff, CCAWL staff, and the licensed veterinarian.
Volunteer Roles Include:
Check-in support or Food Support
Pet handling assistants
Check-In/line support
Setup & breakdown
Flexible Shifts:
Morning/Afternoon/Evening

Afternoon (Remote Outreach 1 PM - 3 PM )
Evening (Event support 3 PM–7 PM)

Outreach Tasks:
Share flyers
Inform pet owners about the event
Direct people to pre-register
Communicate with the team on any concerns or safety issues
Check-In & Event Support (Evening 3 PM–7 PM)

Check-In Tasks:
Verify name + phone number
Confirm registration
Direct guests to park and wait in their vehicles
Assist walk-ups with QR code registration or help them sign up
Communicate with the team on any concerns or safety issues
Help maintain a calm and controlled environment
Ensure pets are leashed or in carriers at all times
Help with any pet messes, and assist with proper waste disposal
Food Support Tasks:
Verify registered guests for food/drinks
Help distribute items in an organized manner
Monitor supply levels
Communicate with the team on any concerns or safety issues

You’ll be working alongside the veterinarian to help ensure a smooth and safe vaccine process.
Pet Handling Tasks:
Assist with safe handling and restraint of pets during exams/vaccines
Help maintain a calm and controlled environment
Ensure pets are leashed or in carriers at all times
Support the vet with the flow and readiness of the next pet
Communicate with the team on any concerns or safety issues
Help with any pet messes, and assist with proper waste disposal
Connecting neighbors with pet resources, plus vaccines available for qualifying pets.
